Finally finished

Today I created the company logo and finished the powerpoints.

That is the entire report completed. Time to hand it into college.

Finished the Report

Today I finished the report!!

I am so relieved to be finished.

Now all that is left to do is finish the powerpoints, reference, create bibliography and update my files on if any changes have been made to the planning stage.

Interview

I managed to arrange and carry out interviews today.

It turned out that Grange Academy does not have its own Human Resources department r its own policys to follow as East Ayrshire as a whole has its own policys.

I interviewed the Human Resource Manager of East Ayrshire Council instead of Grange Academy and instead of meeting face to face the interview was carried out over the phone.

Both interviews were carried out at the same time.

These three points are all changes to my planning stage.

Now onto finishing my report.

Analysis & Findings part 2

Today I compiled the research for the 3rd and 4th sections of the Analysis & findings. These sections were:

  • Company House Style
  • Flexible working policy

Again I couldnt finish flexible working policy as still have not had the Interview. Will need to arrange that as soon as I have time.

Today I started the analysis and findings.

I compiled my research for the first two points:

  • Annual leave policy
  • Employee job description

I couldnt put all the information for Annual leave policy in as still have not arranged the interview with the HR Manager at grange Academy.

Start of Report

Today I started the report.

I put all the sections/headings in that were needed:

  • Summary
  • Methodology
  • Analysis & findings
  • Conclusions
  • Recommendations
  • Appendix

I decided to leave the summary to the very end as it is easier to summarize something that has been written than something that is still to be written.

Today I wrote the methodology for all four points.


I found it easy enough to write it.

I have been very busy with other work so have not had a chance to update the blog. I have however managed to complete everything I was supposed to with regards to Graded Unit apart from the interviews.

 Google Cloud storage is well known but seems costly. We probably wont be going with this one!
 Livedrive is not as well known as google but from what I researched it is the cheaper and better option. However I will let the administrator help in the decision as to which one to go for!

Administrators Job Descriptions- Done!!

Today I was to research Administrator job descriptions so I used two websites to gether information. The websites i used were:







  Prospects had a lot of god information about the role of the administrator. I think this will really help with creation of the administrators job descriptions.

 The information was interesting and sounded like the kind of roles I'd expect an administrator would carry out. There was no problem trying to find this information it was very straight 
 forward to find.
